I've had the opportunity to work with numerous
decorators over my thirty years in the painting field. This has allowed me to help my clients in deciding what
would be best for them.
I have taken all the available courses at the "Definitive School of the
Decorative Arts" in Southwest Houston. This allows me to offer my clients
unlimited choices of finishes that can be applied to walls, ceilings or
woodwork. In fact, the school features
my work on their web site as an example of creating realistic texture
and color .
In my studio I've created over seventy unique sample boards consisting of
marble, stone, metallic, old world and contemporary texture finishes. Also
available is Venetian Plaster, stencils, raised stencils, antiquing,
wood
graining, gilding and metal simulation. There isn't anything I can't do with
faux finishes.
Sheet rock repairs and matching texture is not a problem. I have an
inventory of over sixty colors of tint from three different manufacturers.
I'm able to match any color on location. Color preferences are very
personal. Especially as they are expressed in the home and we all know that it's all about
color. This is the key to perfectly matching existing stone or wood surfaces
which can't be moved.
Should a client need hand painted vines or a mural, I have
worked with
artist's with unbelievable talent whom I can call in as needed..
A
decorative paint finish looks only as good as the surface to which it is
applied. I have a team that I've used
to insure the basic work is both cost effective and meets my standards. All
wall preparation and base painting is performed by me and my colleague,
Steve Schaffner who also has over thirty years in the painting field as
well. Steve's artistic talent and creativity allow me to complete even the
most difficult job in a timely manner. When a job entails a lot of basic
painting, I have two sub-contractors who I've been working with and who know
my high standards of professionalism and what is expected of them.
I work along-side my men and women to ensure your complete satisfaction.
